Panel & wiring

Post by MikeFairbanks »

I got my instrument panel and wiring harness from Midwest Panel Builders today... they did beautiful work. I can't wait to start installing it in the airplane.

I got the panel drilled and mounted, and started on the top braces... the first one was pretty straight forward, but I'm waiting to hear back from MWPB before making the second one...

And then of course, I had to throw the boxes in and sit in it for a bit imagining what it will be like to fly... I like it!

First partial power up... everything looking good. Still lots of wiring details to work on.

Working on securing the wiring in place... I made a bracket that goes between rudder pedal adjustment lever brackets, and started adding Adel clamps.

On my first attempt to power up the GNX 375 didn't come on... a little digging and I found a bent pin... got that straightened out and everything powered up fine.
