This reminded me of working on the Murphy Moose... sheet metal... I know how to do that.
First I fit and clecoed the floor boards in place. That was pretty quick, only slight adjustments were necessary to make them fit.
Then I put the console in place and squared it up and back drilled through the mounting tabs and clecoed in place. Once clecoed in place I aligned the flap and rudder pedal adjustment detents and back drilled, counter sunk, glued and riveted them on.
Then I trimmed the sides to fit, drilled, and screwed them in place.
